Fox/ Fox Searchlight dan Lionsgate UK memimpin perolehan nominasi; Filth, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, dan X-Men: Days of Future Past menjadi film dengan nominasi terbanyak.

Screen Awards 2014 telah mengumumkan daftar pendek nominasinya, Fox/ Fox Searchlight memimpin sekira 13 kategori, Lionsgate UK menyusul dengan masuk dalam 12 kategori.

Film milik Lionsgate “Filth” dan “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” masing-masing masuk dalam tiga kategori, begitu pula dengan “X-Men: Days of Future Past” milik Fox.

Selain itu, “Starred Up,” “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” dan “Frank” masing-masing menempati dua nominasi.

Daftar pendek yang telah diumumkan, kini akan didebatkan oleh juri independen yang berasal dari ahli industri hiburan, mereka lah yang bakal memilih pemenangnya. Penghargaan bakal diserahkan pada 23 Oktober 2014 di The Brewery London.
